Are you going to a night race in the desert? Similar to the Phantom II, Sport-Comp II and Ultra-Lite II the new Elite series gauges have bright LED lights that illuminate through the numbers, providing clear visibility during nighttime use. You can select seven different colors (red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, violet and white) to match your vehicle's scheme, visibility conditions or low and high warning.

Shift Light
- 0-6000 Green backlight
- 6000-7000 Yellow warning backlight
- 7000-8000 Red warning backlight
- 8000+ Flashing red backlight
- This gauge allows the dial lighting to operate in full on, dimmable or no backlight color.
- You can select seven different colors (red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, violet and white) or you can select no color. With the no color option, if the gauge reaches a certain peak RPM, you can set it to light up to get your attention. If the gauge reaches a RPM above your peak settings, the gauge will light up and flash the color of your choice.
- When a warning point is reached, the entire dial illuminates in the programmed warning color. The warning color will flash when an over warn point is reached.
- You can recall the highest RPM reading since the memory was last cleared.
The Elite tachometer uses the dial backlight as a shift light indicator. By default the RPM of the engine will be indicated by one of the following colors which you can change:
