Stock width (40-1/4") rear 40 spline VW torsion housing. Can be used in a class 9 swing axle transmission buggy or class 1/2-1600 IRS transmission buggy. The IRS rear trailing arm pivots are tacked in place so that you can remove them or reposition them for your application.
The torsion housing end plates can be used with stock VW torsion end caps or with longer aftermarket end caps that have the bottom bolt hole further down to allow the spring plate to travel further.

Customer's building a class 1/2-1600 buggy typically purchase long swing axle springs plates for 26-9/16" torsion bars. They cut them down and re-drill the holes to use with their IRS rear trailing arms to compensate for the flange on the arm being in a different location compared to a stock VW rear arm or to have round bolt holes instead of oval slots on the spring plate.
