Customer's building a class 1/2-1600 buggy, class 5/1600 Baja Bug, or class 11 Baja Bug typically purchase long swing axle springs plates instead. They cut them down and re-drill the holes to use with their IRS rear trailing arms to compensate for the flange on the arm being in a different location compared to a stock VW rear arm or to have round bolt holes instead of oval slots on the spring plate.
