Black Eibach 300 Pound 3-15/16" Tall Linear Tender Spring For 2" Diameter Fox Or King Coil Over Shks

Eibach tender springs are used to prevent the main springs from becoming loose on the spring seat and spring divider when the suspension is unloaded at full droop. See diagram below. At ride height when the vehicle is sitting on the ground, the spring is fully compressed. When you launch the vehicle, the tender spring prevents the spring just below it, from digging into the side of the shock. A linear tender spring, unlike a helper spring, has a higher spring rate.

Linear tender springs, such as Eibach's 0225.250.0300, supply a lot more pressure at full compression. For example, the above spring has 675 lbs load at full compression but the Eibach HELPER250 or HELPER250T helper springs have 28 lbs or 27 lbs load at full compression. Eibach makes a bunch of linear tender springs for a 2" coil-over shock to help you dial in your suspension.

On your average dual rate coil over shock such as King, Fox, or Sway-A-Way you'll need to run ANOTHER spring divider between your top spring and the tender spring. On most shocks you'll need to remove the hose or Schrader valve at the top of the shock to slide on the additional spring divider. We can convert any shock to add the additional spring divider.
