Product Information:

Peterson's filter tank for Dirt Late Models features a high flow cleanable 100 micron internal return filter, a built in dipstick makes checking your oil level easy and radiused full flow fittings eliminate back pressure on the return lines.

Features:

  • All aluminum light weight construction
  • Hand tig welded and pressure tested
  • Fully baffled inside for oil and air control
  • Built in 8-3/8" long dipstick
  • Internal cleanable return oil filter
  • 1/2" NPT heater bung opposite side of outlets
  • AN #10 and AN #16 outlets towards the bottom edge
  • Two AN #16 inlets on filter housing
  • 1-7/16" billet aluminum o-ring sealed oil filler cap
  • Breather filter is 2-1/2" tall 3" diameter with 1-1/2" opening
  • AN #12 ORB drain plug on bottom
  • V-Band clamp allows you to easily clean inside the tank or clock the inlet fittings in a different direction than the outlet fittings

    Notes:

  • The tank does NOT come with any type of mounting brackets
  • If you're not going to use the 1/2" NPT pipe thread bung for an immersion heater or an oil temperature sender, you'll also need to purchase a 1/2" NPT plug
  • If you're not going to use the #10 outlet, you'll need to purchase a female cap
  • Includes a part number 19-5100 100 micron oil filter. Use a 1/2" drive ratchet to turn the oil filter cap
  • Includes a 8-3/8" long dipstick. You turn the dipstick a half turn CLOCKWISE with your fingers to pull it out of the tank
  • We also sell 1-1/2" silicone hose couplers and aluminum tubing if you want to extend the breather to help prevent oil from coming out of the tank in the event of a rollover

  • The tank includes two removable Peterson R4 #16 inlet fittings and a plug which allows you to run two inlets or you can plug one of them. Those fittings and plug are a shallow 1-1/8" x 18 thread. Peterson does offer different fittings (sold separately)

    • Part number 14-0002 is a 1-1/8" x 18 plug (included)

    Part number 14-0008 is a -8 male fitting
    Part number 14-0010 is a -10 male fitting
    Part number 14-0012 is a -12 male fitting
