Product Information:

Peterson's Drag Race oil reservoir has been proven by Kurt and Warren Johnson to provide excellent oil control and absolutely no blowing oil. It features Peterson's race proven tank design with breather fittings for use with an external breather canister. It also includes a heater bung for an immersion style heater, a lightweight billet aluminum cap, and o-ring sealed bolt together flanges.

  • All aluminum light weight construction
  • Hand tig welded and pressure tested
  • Fully baffled inside for oil and air control
  • Two AN #12 male vents on backside
  • One AN #16 male scavenge inlet
  • One AN #12 male outlet towards the bottom edge
  • One 1/2" NPT immersion heater bung
  • 3" Billet aluminum o-ring sealed oil filler cap
  • AN #6 ORB drain plug on bottom
  • Two-piece, bolt together design, allows you to easily clean inside the tank or clock the inlet fittings in a different direction than the outlet fittings

    • Peterson Fluid Systems dry sump oil tanks optional AN number 6 drain cock valve

      Notes:

    • Peterson does include a steel -6 allen head drain plug, however customers often purchase Fragola's 481426BL -6 ORB to 1/8" NPT adapter fitting and CBR's 1/8DVALVE finger-actuated drain cock valve. That allows you to quickly drain the tank. See above photo for reference.
    • The tank does NOT come with any type of mounting brackets or breathers
    • If you're not going to use the 1/2" NPT pipe thread bung for an immersion heater or an oil temperature sender, you'll also need to purchase a 1/2" NPT plug
    • Oil capacity was provided by Peterson Fluid Systems
