Racing down in Baja or through the Nevada desert in a Prerunner or Class 1 buggy is no easy task. Rest assured that the Method Race Wheels 103 Buggy Beadlock wheels are built strong, making them the ultimate race wheel for your buggy.

For thicker beaded tires, Method ring spacers are available to ensure proper ring seating.

  • Threaded twice (48 holes) in case you strip out one set of the 24 beadlock bolt holes
  • Wide 5 on 205mm VW bolt pattern
  • Constructed out of heavy duty A356 aluminum
  • Forged 6061 beadlock ring
  • Grade 8 zinc beadlock hardware included

These wheels use a spherical ball seat style lug nut. It's extremely important that you use the correct lug nuts. If you use the wrong lug nuts for your wheel, you'll not only damage the wheel, but the lug nuts will eventually loosen up.

Wheel backspacing is measured from the drum/disc brake mounting surface to the outside edge of the wheel. If you take the wheel and put it face down on the ground and measure from the drum/disc brake mounting surface up to a straight edge across the wheel, that is your backspacing.

How is wheel back spacing measured?


The width of a bead lock wheel is measured from inside edge to inside edge. If you're replacing a wheel but you still have a tire mounted on the wheel, you'll need to dismount the tire in order to measure the width of your wheel.
