The inlet on this canister faces towards the left driver side. It is tapered for class 11 baja bugs with a deck lid. American made, tig welded aluminum. Manwelder Fabrication's Bocar, Brosol, EMPI or Solex PICT carburetor adapter has a sanded 3" inlet and a built in velocity stack for unobstructed air flow.
NOT for use with forced induction, such as a turbo charger. Designed for a naturally aspirated VW engine. This air box allows you to remotely mount a UMP air filter canister.
