Fox 7/16"-20 Schrader Valve To Rubber Pellet Conversion Kit Allows Needle Tool In Place Of Schrader

Originally Fox used 1/8" NPT Schrader valves, then they started using 7/16"-20 ORB valves and eventually switched to 5/16"-32 ORB valves. Around the time that they were using 7/16"-20 valves, they also used a rubber pellet on their shocks that you punctured with a needle to fill the shock up with nitrogen. Similar to how you fill a basketball with air.

For shocks that had the 7/16" ORB Schrader valve, Fox made this adapter so you could replace a traditional Schrader valve and use their needle nitrogen filler instead of the standard t-handle no loss chuck. This same brass housing and needle setup is also used by Icon Vehicle Dynamics on many of their shocks too.

The 200-00-003-A is an empty housing. If you purchase that, you still need the o-ring, 8-32 allen plug and the 010-00-000-A rubber pellet. Once you insert the rubber pellet into the housing, you crimp over the edges of the 200-00-003-A brass housing to hold the pellet in place. Otherwise you can buy the 802-00-000-KIT which includes the o-ring, 8-32 allen plug and the pellet is already installed and crimped in.
