Product Information:

NOT intended for offroad racing! Racing applications use part number KTK6331 instead. You can use this adjuster to raise or lower your bug or baja. You'll cut a 2" section out of the center of the axle beam then weld the adjuster in place. For best results, clamp a thick piece of angle iron on the tube between your shock towers. Cut the upper tube, weld in the adjuster, then cut the lower tube. Doing one tube at a time helps prevent the beam from flexing.

When installing economy adjusters from EMPI, Latest Rage, or Sway-A-Way, you cut a 2" section out of your axle beam's pipe and weld the adjuster in the center of the beam between the two pipes. That can create a weak point. For racing applications, using our KTK6331 instead, you use one continuous piece of pipe from shock tower to shock tower and slot the center for the adjustment screw.

Also EMPI's 22-2802-0 adjuster uses a 14mm grub screw and adjustment screw, whereas our racing adjuster uses a larger 5/8" grub screw and adjustment screw.
