Autometer hall effect speed sensors generate the signal you need to make installing an Autometer electric speedometer in your vehicle quick and easy. Compatible with GM and Chrysler transmissions that have a 7/8"-18 threaded speedometer cable output, this speed sensor outputs a 16 pulse per revolution (PPR), 12v square wave signal.
The red cap can be removed for a cruise control cable, otherwise you'll leave the cap installed.
Autometer also offers the 5289 hall effect electronic speedometer GPS conversion interface. That kit allows you to use a GPS antenna instead of a cable drive.
