One benefit to the N series HiTorque starters, is that they have a 2" on center cap. This allows you to purchase a push button "emergency" switch cap. If you've ever been in the desert and had your starter/ignition switch fail, a push button cap allows you to push the motor towards the flywheel to crank over the engine. The starters do not include this button cover. You'll have to purchase that separately.

If you have a VW based transaxle and want not just a high torque starter, but also a high SPEED starter, take a look at HiTorque's 101NMR starters listed below. They feature an 11 tooth gear and either the large N series motor or the extreme duty offroad HD series motor and really spin an engine fast.
