Pleated stainless steel cleanable pre fuel filter or oil filter. On the top inlet side of XRP's filters, they come with either a solid cap or a 15 PSI spring-loaded bypass relief valve. The solid cap forces all fluid through the filter media. The bypass relief valve allows fluid to circumnavigate the filter media in the event that it gets overly clogged or an unusual spike in pressure. They're also available with a standard core or a high pressure core. The high pressure core resists filter collapse under high pressure or with high viscosity fluids.

XRP's 71 or 72 series filter housings with -6 -8 -10 -12 or -16 end caps use the same size filter. Only the housing with the -20 end caps uses a different size filter.
