This add-on automatic thermal sensor nozzle kit is designed for Safecraft's first generation (red knob) UTV fire suppression kits. The supplied tee compression fitting can be placed on the bottle's head or it can be daisy chained at the end of your current automatic thermal sensor.
The temperature sensitive nozzle is similar to a frangible glass bulb on a fire sprinkler head. The bulb contains a special heat sensitive liquid, which expands and shatters the glass when the surrounding air reaches a predetermined temperature, thus triggering the system to release the clean agent Fluoro FS fire suppression fluid.
Important Notes: Only fits the first gen UTV bottles with the red knob that had compression fittings. The second gen, without a knob, uses pipe thread. You would install this kit BEFORE you screw the red knob down on the bottle and pressurize the system. If you already have a suppression system on your UTV and you see the red knob already threaded all the way down, then the system is already pressurized.
