A vacuum regulator is highly recommended, and often necessary, when running a dry sump oil tank system to prevent excessively high vacuum levels from damaging your engine seals, gaskets, or causing oil control issues. A dry sump system naturally creates a vacuum. This regulator stabilizes that pressure.
Peterson's adjustable vacuum regulator is on the leading edge of engine management. It has been proven to regulate crankcase vacuum and hold a steady level through extensive testing. Vacuum can be regulated from as high as 29.7 in/hg down to 2 in/hg. Fits a -12 AN o-ring boss port (1-1/16"-12 thread). Includes an aluminum weld-on bung for your valve cover.
