Pre-heating oil in a dry or wet sump system is important to ensure good lubrication on initial startup. Wrap around heating pads can be glued, using high temperature RTV silicone, to the outside of the dry sump reservoir tank or oil pan. The heater features a 110 volt detachable cord.
