This 1/4" thick front VW beam end plate is made from 4130 chromoly steel and has a taller spacing than the standard VW front beams. The hole diameters are 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" with 5-1/4" arm spacing. This is used to fabricate your own coil over front axle beam.
Customer's still using the factory frame head on their baja bug would purchase the factory height end plates. Customer's planning to build a tube chassis buggy or fabricate tubing from their roll cage to their front axle beam on a baja bug, would purchase the taller parallel arm spacing end plates.
