This kit is a more deluxe version of the 803-01-213 nitrogen filling tool. It includes two different c-clamps to clamp around a 2" or 2-1/2" IFP Internal Floating Piston shock. The two black plastic pieces that resemble a Star Wars Imperial TIE fighter, clip onto the end cap of a 2" or 2-1/2" piggyback or remote reservoir shock.
This kit also includes a 1/8" Allen key bit (also known as a hex key or Allen wrench) and a T20W Torx bit. Early IFP Fox shocks had a tiny 10-24 thread Allen screw that used a 1/8" Allen wrench. Later Fox started using T20 Torx screws.

The old style 803-01-213 tool had a 1/8" NPT Scrader valve on the side of it. Customers would often purchase a tee fitting to put a gauge in that port. The new style 803-01-997 tool has a 5/16"-32 ORB Schrader valve. If you want to run a gauge on this tool, you'll have to take the tool apart. There's a single 1/8" Allen screw on the backside of the tool. Once you remove that, the handle unthreads out of the body. At that point you can drill and tap a 1/8" NPT pipe thread hole next to the Schrader valve for you to thread a gauge into. The tool does NOT include a gauge but we do sell them separately. They are listed below.
Alternatively, if your shocks are tapped 10-24 thread, you can simply buy RPG's schrader valves listed below and eliminate the need for this clamp tool. The Schrader valves are way less expensive than this tool and allow you to use a traditional nitrogen bottle setup to fill your shocks.
