Important Notes: 2nd generation Performance Elite shocks have a single pinch style preload nut that uses the 07098 or 803-00-733 spanner wrench. They no longer have the notch style preload nut and the jam nut above that like the Factory Race series did.
Typically customers purchase a 16" top spring and a 18" bottom spring. 16" springs with a 2-1/2" ID are common but 18" springs with a 2-1/2" ID aren't common. There are a lot of 18" springs with a 3" ID to choose from instead. To run the larger diameter lower spring, you'll also need to purchase two 234-00-344 spring perch adapter rings PER SHOCK.
