Product Information:

This is an economy version of Sway-A-Way's 6320. You can use this adjuster to raise or lower your bug or baja. You'll cut a 2" section out of the center of the axle beam then weld the adjuster in place. For best results, clamp a thick piece of angle iron on the tube between your shock towers. Cut the upper tube, weld in the adjuster, then cut the lower tube. Doing one tube at a time helps prevent the beam from flexing, but more importantly, the original VW tube needs to line up perfectly with the tube on this adjuster. There are two screws threaded into the adjuster. One screw acts like the factory grub screw that pinches the leafs. The other screw goes through the aluminum push block. You'll take the leaf spring collar and install the leafs into it, tightening the hidden grub screw down. Then you'll slide the leafs, with the collar attached, into the axle beam. That's why it's important that the adjuster's tube be lined up perfectly with the axle beam's tube.

When you go to put the leafs in your axle beam, pay attention to the direction of the dimples drilled into the leaf packs. The driver side grub screw faces upward and the passenger side faces downward.
