Eibach's shock covers are designed to protect your shocks from dirt, mud, sand and debris. They protect the shock's shaft and seals. Eibach makes their covers in either a single layer nylon material or a dual layer neoprene material. Nylon is thinner and costs less. It's the type of material that you would find on running shoes or backpacks. Neoprene is a synthetic rubber, very stretchy, and costs more. It's the type of material you'll usually find on wetsuits. Both types of material have a Velcro seam that allow you to wrap the cover around the shock's spring.
