DC Power Engineering's universal 40RN-270-XP. Commonly used on ID Designs SBC, BBC, and LS Series Trophy Truck alternator mounting brackets. Note: DC Power no longer includes the pulley with this alternator. When you purchase the alternator mounting kit from ID Designs, they can also supply you with the pulley.

The yellow wire is for an idiot light. If you're not running an idiot light on the dash, you'll have to put a 500 Ohm 1/2 watt resistor inline on the yellow wire then to 12 volts key on / key off to power the alternator. The ring terminal on the blue wire connects to the positive output stud on the alternator.
