Description
Replacement oil temperature or water temperature sender for all full sweep electric temperature gauges (except early style with the black box). -40 to 300°F 1/8" NPT pipe thread. If you have a short sweep temperature gauge, you would use the 2253 / 2254 / 2258 / 2259 sending unit instead.
If you're using this with the 2278 or 2277 metric adapter fittings, the bottom of the probe will fit through those fittings. If you're using this with the 2265 adapter fitting, you'll have to drill the fitting for this to fit through it.
Underneath the pipe thread, the probe is 1/4" diameter and 9/16" long. You can use an Aptiv Delphi 12047662 plug or Autometer offers an 8 foot wiring harness with the plug already on it. Part number 5226.
