Some Sway-A-Way torsion bars won't quite fit into the torsion housing or spring plate. Do NOT try to hammer the torsion bar into the torsion housing or the spring plate onto the torsion bar. Instead, Sway-A-Way recommends using emery sandpaper to sand off about 0.002" of the spline's outside diameter.
