Two stage element with wire mesh used to replace the gauze filter on EMPI's 00-8970-0 chrome air filter for EMPI, Solex, Bocar, Brosol PICT carburetors. Trusted by desert racers for years in offroad racing to protect your engine from silt and dust. Important: Oil this filter before using it on your vehicle. Use foam filter oil and saturate the filter, squeezing out the excess oil.
