This sand sealed adapter pilot bearing replaces the old style Kennedy Engineering two piece design that used a VW needle bearing pressed into an aluminum housing.
15mm is the typical main shaft diameter found on Fortin Racing, Mendeola, PBS (NOT the Chevrolet bell housing), Volkswagen and Weddle Industries transaxles.
PBS Note: S4, S5, S4D, S5D transmissions with a PBS Chevy bell housing use the 27.8mm outside diameter needle bearing.
