Description
In the offroad racing industry, it's very common for people to wrap their axles in black electrical tape or duct tape to prevent rocks and debris from scratching their axles and causing hairline fractures.
Usually after a particularly brutal race, they'll unwrap the axle to check for cracks using penetrating dye. Before dye can be sprayed the on the axles, all the sticky adhesive from the tape would have to be completely cleaned off.
Dirt Bagz came up with a way easier solution. Simple Velcro axle covers. They come in a set of four. Each cover is about 17-1/2" wide. Two of them will wrap around axles up to 7/8" in diameter and two of them will wrap around axles up to 1-1/8" in diameter.
