Description
American made, tig welded aluminum, by Manuel Escalante in Apple Valley California. Manwelder Fabrication's Dellorto DRLA, EMPI HPMX, or Weber IDF carburetor adapter has a sanded 4" inlet that points over the fan shroud and built in velocity stacks for unobstructed air flow. It is tapered for class 11 baja bugs with a deck lid.
Important Notes: NOT for use with forced induction, such as a turbo charger. Designed for a naturally aspirated VW engine. If you have CB Performance idle Jet Doctors or EMPI HPMX carburetors that have the idle jet extensions, you'll have to remove them. The brass extensions would be sitting outside the air box if you drilled the bottom of it.
