Jamar's CA3 and CA4 are the only pedal assemblies that use a 7/8" ball (instead of the traditional 1" uniball). The center of the shaft is 7/16"-20 thread and actually threads into the ball. Both ends of the shaft are machined down to 5/16"-24 thread to fit into CF5 female heim joints.
Because Jamar machined the ends down to 5/16", you can not use traditional dash mount brake bias adjuster knobs for 3/8" or 7/16" threaded shafts. This shaft is 4-3/8" wide.
