Harmon Racing Cells Raw Aluminum Fuel Discriminator and Rollover Valve AN -10 ORB Female In/Outlet

Discriminator valves prevent fuel from traveling up the vent line. There are two balls in a discriminator valve. One ball floats when fuel enters the valve. This is especially important if you're using a pressurized fill system. The other ball is heavy and uses gravity if you roll the vehicle over.

It's always a good idea to run a filter at the end of your vent line. Obviously, do not stick the filter directly onto your discriminator valve.

Note: If you're rebuilding Harmon's #10 ORB discriminator valve, if you have the first generation valve (picture shown below and usually blue) with the metal balls, you'll use the HRBK0010 rebuild kit part number. If you have the second generation valve with the plastic looking balls, you'll use the HRBK100V that Harmon uses on all their other discriminator valves.

All of Harmon's discriminator valves are available in raw aluminum, clear anodized aluminum or black anodized aluminum. The raw aluminum valves allow you to tig weld the housing to something without having to grind off the anodizing prior to welding.
