Aluminum piston fits Fox 2-1/2" ALUMINUM reservoirs. Can take the place of 805-00-079-KIT, 223-00-031, 223-00-036, 223-00-047 or 805-00-066-KIT pistons. This aluminum piston is threaded 1/4"-20 coarse thread, allowing you to set the depth and also purge out any air by plunging the piston in and out of the reservoir during assembly. It includes 029-00-328 o-ring or it can use 035-00-328-A quad ring.
Note: When Fox switched from steel reservoirs to aluminum on their 2-1/2" shocks, all of the internal parts were also changed because the aluminum reservoir has a smaller inside diameter than the steel reservoir. This piston is too small in diameter to work on a steel reservoir.
