In offroad racing, it's common to have an issue with traditional jam nuts loosening up from vibration. Nylocs are a great solution for this problem. However you would NOT use a Nyloc nut on a heim joint, threaded upside down, and used as a jam nut against a bung.
A Nyloc nut is designed to be threaded onto a bolt with the Nylon facing away from the bolt. If you're looking for jam nuts for a heim joint, then you would use standard jam nuts, not Nylocs. If you're still having issues with standard jam nuts loosening up, then you could use a bit of blue Loctite.
This six point steel hex nut has fine thread and silver Zinc plating.
