Proven to be one of the most versatile dual sport tires made, the Desert Trak series is a popular choice for people running their vehicles in areas that have both sand and hard pack dirt. The Desert Trak's width and "mini-paddles" provide for better flotation and bite than hard pack tires in sand while still being able to run on hard pack thanks to its center ridges and 4 ply design.

This tire is ideal for lightweight cars with low to medium horsepower. The tire is also commonly used as a front tire for 4x4 trucks and Jeeps for the sand for better front tire flotation and bite.

The Desert Master series is the next stage of evolution for dual purpose off road tires. Like the classic Desert Trak, the Sand Master features a tread pattern that works effectively in both sand & dirt. The tire's wide width and short paddles allow for better flotation in the sand while still being able to handle hard pack with it's all-terrain center tread.

The Desert Master is designed with today's more powerful cars and trucks in mind, and engineered to be more durable than the classic Desert Trak. The unique design features a harder tire compound, thicker paddle, stronger nylon cords, and heavier plies.

1300 Plus No. 2 Padla Trak
Padla Trak

The Padla Trak from Sand Tires Unlimited is the most popular paddle tire on the market. This series is the classic design which offers the best overall performance for sand cars, sand dragsters, trucks, and Jeeps. What allows it to be so versatile is it's wide design with a short short sidewall and high center crown along with a selection of different paddle cuts. This allows for maximum flotation with a wide selection of levels of 'bite' for your specific application's needs.

You can choose the amount bite a tire has be selecting a paddle number cut. These cuts differ in the paddle height and thickness, with No. 1 being the smallest at 3/4" tall and No. 2 being 1-1/4" tall. Other cuts are available for a few tires and are special order only.

The 1300 Series is ideal for lightweight low to medium horsepower cars with either a swing axle or mid travel suspension.

The 1300 Plus Series is a slightly wider version of the 1300 for more flotation and bite for mid travel rear engine cars & swing axle mid-engine cars.

The 1650 Series can be used with medium to heavy cars with low to medium horsepower and also work very well with trucks and Jeeps.

The 2000 Series was designed primarily for competition use with sand dragsters and sand hill climbers. This series offers the most bite and flotation of the Padla Trak series.

Sand Blaster

The Sand Blaster Series was developed for use on today's heavy long travel cars with high horsepower. Unlike the Padla Traks which are focused on flotation, the Sand Blasters focus is on bite. Sand Blasters are narrower, taller, and have a more aggressive paddle design that is stronger, taller, and extends farther to the sidewall with a flatter center crown. This high traction design allows high horsepower cars to better utilize their power instead of overpowering the tires and tearing paddles.

This design is heavier, offers less flotation, and puts more stress on the powertrain. With high horsepower and a strong drivetrain you can use raw power to stay on top of the sand and climb even the steepest of hills with little effort.

You can choose the amount bite a tire has by selecting a paddle number cut. These cuts differ in the paddle height and thickness, with No. 1 being the smallest. You can also choose the 'Pro' version for the 15" wheel size which has the more aggressive paddle that are on the 17" size tires. Sand Blasters are availble in 12", 15", and 17" wheel sizes.

Smoothee front sand tires are designed to offer the best flotation in sand thanks to its round, treadless design. This design prevents the front end of a buggy from digging into the sand while accelerating or turning, which helps maintains your monument.
