Derale's fan control relays are ideal for any cooling system to reduce amp loads and as a safeguard by not requiring a toggle switch. The 30/40 amp relays are available as adjustable control units or as a single stage relay. The adjustable control fan relay kits allow for fan activation to be adjustable between 150° and 240°, while the single stage relay is fixed at 180° for on and 170° for off.

Single Stage Thermostat Fan Relay, 180°F

SPAL's fan relay harness are a must have when installing an electric fan for your water or oil cooling systems. A fan relay reduces amp loads from the cooling fans by only having them run when they are needed and allow the engine to quickly warm up to operating temperature. These relays can also be used as safeguard from driver/co-driver error by ensure the cooling fan is always on without having to toggle a switch.

These kits feature a waterproof 40/50 amp relay that can be easily installed into any OEM or custom wiring loom. The kits are available with and without thermostat sensors. The sensors are 3/8" NPT thread and are available as 185° or 195°. The kits are design to turn on a fan at a set temperature and turn it off 20 degrees lower than the setting. The kits also feature an optional switched override that allows you to turn on the fan when you want it to come on.

These thermostat sensors are the same sensor available in SPAL's fan relay packages. These sensor allow you to change the on/off point for the cooling fans. Sensors will turn a fan on at the listed tempature and turn it off 20 degres lower than the sensor. These sensors require a 3/8" NPT bung to be welded into the radiator.

The In-Line fan thermostat is a clean and simple way to control the electric fan on remote coolers. Designed to thread onto the AN inlets of Derale Cooler cores, the kit also includes hose barb adapters that allow you to mount it on any cooling line with any brand cooler. The thermostat activates fan at 180°, turn off is 170°.
