These End Caps bolt on the end of a SuperTrapp assembly and glasspack mufflers to hold the discs in place. Closed end caps are available in 4" and 5" with either a polished or unpolished finish. Unmodified closed end caps are required to comply with US Forest Service laws for off road use when using a SuperTrapp. |

By changing the number of disc on a SuperTrapp, you can control both the sound level and performance of your car's engine. With more discs the higher the db level. The same also applies with backpressure where more discs equals less backpressure. This muffler is a straight thru design that uses Louvered baffles to help reduce the db level of an engine. The straight thru design minimizes back pressure and allows for a compact design. Aside from helping to prevent permanent ear damage from running open headers and being able to hear your radio's headset, using a muffler of some type will help lower your vehicle's db level low enough to comply with California's noise limit for both competition and non-competition off-road vehicles.
